I read an article about a misguided guide for students to help them budget and then I continued reading about some students who "clapped back" with a guide of their own which is how I ended up connecting with Lauren Schandevel.

Lauren Schandevel is a rising senior at the University of Michigan studying Public Policy with a minor in Community Action and Social Change. Originally from a working-class suburb of Detroit, Lauren's activism on campus is devoted to empowering and advocating for lower-income students.
