From the first time I read one of John Pavlovitz's pieces about the pro-life debate, I knew I needed to know him because he's an incredible human being that gets it. He says the hard things in a poignant fashion and is a weaver of words. I decided he would be my mentor, whether he knew it or not! It is great to walk and work shoulder to shoulder with someone like him who is affirming and inclusive all while he's able to speak up and out about the very things that pull darkness over us.

John Pavlovitz is a pastor and blogger from Wake Forest, NC. In the past three years his blog Stuff That Needs To Be Said has reached a diverse audience of millions of people. A 20-year veteran in the trenches of local church ministry, John's mission is to help the Church become a more compassionate, loving environment for all people. He serves at North Raleigh Community Church and his first book called A Bigger Table, is due in September 2017.
